Services Training School / Show room

The Santoni School is a training centre within the Santoni Company created to serve technicians and operators, concerning the application and use of the SANTONI software and hardware technology. Over and above the customer education facilities, the training centre also holds modular courses for novices interested in learning seamless technology to improve their knowledge of this sector.
A comprehensive staff of technicians and designers follow each the course participants at each and every step, until each individual participant is able to produce a seamless garment prototype on the sample machines in the school.

The school boasts a broad and well furnished show room in which garments and fabrics demonstrate the technical creativity and inspirations that can be realised by the novice course participants and by existing and future SANTONI customers.

Regarding the development, research and innovations, this is made possible by the close collaboration and contributions of the most important world wide fibre and yarn manufacturers. The Santoni School can show the complete knitting process using special equipment, from knitting to boarding and from dyeing to sewing, right up to the pressing process.

In order to promote the Santoni expertise and know-how in the Fashion and industrial Marketing sectors. Earlier in November 2001, the Lonati group of which Santoni is part of founded the Lonati Fashion and Design Institute “Machina”. The main target is to educate young talented people, specializing in the various fashion and design sectors, finalising with a textile qualification of a degree status.
Machina is the first world wide institute for the education of Seamless professionals. Born of the Adele and Cav. Francesco Lonati foundation, the institute organizes 2 year courses for the specialization on Fashion Marketing, Fashion Technology designer and Industrial Designer.
