| PULSAR is a new product developed by Dinema together with SANTONI to program a seamless machine. |
| The detail and varietu of items which can be knitted on a seamless machine has reached such complex levels that new knitting methods must be inverted. In contrast to most software packages, PULSAR was conceived as an EXPERT SYSTEM program which allows creation of articles without thought towards the mechanicla aspect required to actually knit the items. |
| The main feature of the program is the significant reduction of the knitting time of any article. The projection method of the articles has thus been revolutionized as the developer can simply design the rewuired items as it is seen. As with current methods of article development which allows the designer to first view the color composition of the article and then in details the stitch structure. PULSAR also uses identicla pattern development methods allowing the designer to match different combinations of stitch structures to the visible aspects of the articles (colors). |
| Following a details analysis of the designer's work, PULSAR even recommends to the user the yarn set-up on the machine which, should the user confirm, would then automatically create and send a program directly to the machine for knitting the article. PULSAR is perfectly compatible with the DIGRAPH3 plus system, and thus an export user can modif the output features as required. |
